Wholesale Line Rental 3 (WLR3) enables Communications Providers (CPs) to offer their own branded telephony products to retail customers over the core BT network.

The introduction of Wholesale Line Rental has enabled us to provide customers with similar line rental solutions as BT but with flexible pricing and service criteria.

Under regulatory undertakings to Ofcom, BT Openreach has provided WLR3 to enable CPs to have access to the same product, assurance and fulfilment capabilities as BT itself, thereby enabling more effective competition and service innovation.
